Most people carve pumpkins with knives.

But why be like everyone else?

“Precision Pumpkin Carving” is a shooting game that you can enjoy any time there’s pumpkins in the field (but make sure you buy one, as I imagine farmers get  a little ticked finding holes in their pumpkins…)

So how do you  carve a pumpkin with a gun? Let’s begin.

You’ll need:

-A pumpkin (or more) the size of your choice

-A safe shooting spot with a berm

-A gun of your choice

-And some creativity

Set Up:

Place it higher than the ground if you can (so you have a nice even face on the back)

Be as close to the pumpkin (within safe distance of course) or as far away as you like. The important part is to challenge yourself and have fun!

Shoot away!

Now remember, pumpkins are volatile creatures (really, they are! You’ll see why once you shoot one). They don’t cooperate perfectly, but if you set perfection aside and simply shoot, you’ll love your results.

 Finally:

Stick a candle in that Jack-o-lantern and enjoy your creation!
